Review Creative Commons Licensing information

Locate your MUSIC:
You will need to use music from the program OR send a MP3 or WAV file
It is highly recommended that you use an MP3 or WAV file for your music.
1. Purple Planet Music is a great website for Free Instrumental Digital Music. It is available for YOUR Project too!!

2. New Melodies is another Free Instructional Digital Music

3. Free Play Music - Check out the terms FIRST. If you are a student producing a project to only be used in class then you can use the music for free. Think powerpoint or movie maker project BUT If you are going to post it to a blog or a wiki or if you are a teacher, you will need to pay the licensing fee. See the website for more information about fees. You could use this to post a movie to a blackboard class that you are turning in the assignment directly to the teacher. But to post it on You Tube you will need to pay licensing fees.

Do you need a longer piece of music??
Use a file from a copyright friendly resource like purple planet!!!
You can import an MP3 file into Audacity. Then you can copy the piece of music as many times as you need.
Be sure to save your project as a project file.... as you go along.
You can export as a WAV file (or if your lam is working you can export as an MP3 and skip the next step)
Put it into iTunes and turn it into an MP3 file to upload to Picasa!!!
