New Domain
Getting Ready to move your machine to the new domain in June/July
All machines will be transitioned to the new domain this summer.

Think of which websites you use that have your cvsd.k12.pa.us email address
and check the district wide list of Websites to update to get ideas of what you will need to change

  • Log into Atomic Learning, then click on the “My Schools Training tab” and select the first tutorial series called “1-Transitioning from cvsd.k12.pa.us Email to ConestogaValley.org.” Sections C and E show you how to use Outlook to make the transition and reviews some issues you will come across while both domains are still active. Section F has information if you are interested in adding your district email to your mobile device. If you decide to do this, know that you will be required to set a passcode on your mobile device.

  • **Book Creator** - Put together digital textbooks and storybooks for your iPad, then publish them in iBooks for others to download.
  • ChatterKid -Like Blabberize you can add your own pictures and then add the student voices to the photo. These can be saved to the camera roll and Air Play can be used to send them to the teacher. See this blog post for more details !
  • Story Me - allows you to load your pictures from the camera roll into the program and you choose the layout for your cartoon version of you pics. You can add word bubbles or titles for each picture to tell a story
  • Sight Words for HD.

My Fav 5/6 Apps for your classroom on the K-2 iPads :
  • Sock Puppet - students can record a short video with a sock puppet character. This program transform their voice into a silly voice. and you can save the video to the sock puppet program on the ipad. You can use your apple TV to share these creations with the class.
  • Find Sum You can customize this Math Tapper app. Choice One - Apples fill in the bar graph and Choice Two Add to 10 which is really number bonds. Teachers can also customize and Set the target number.
  • Pizza. this app is all about Fractions. You get a part of a pizza and you match the fraction. And you shake the ipad to get the next questions
  • BrainPop and Brain Pop JR. We have accounts
  • Wixie - Common core Lessons, story creation, Lesson integration at home and at school access.
  • **Toontastic** - Create animated stories by moving existing cartoon characters around, recording your voice, and overlaying background music.
